Privacy policy
Last updated 29 September 2026
Mate HQ respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through matehq.com.au, how we use it, and how you can contact us about it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- Enquiries. When you use our contact form we collect your name, work email, company, organisation size, the product you are interested in, the systems you currently use, and anything you write about your operational challenge. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and message.
- Website analytics. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site. These tools use cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location, and how you interact with pages (including clicks and scrolling). Clarity may record anonymised sessions; form contents are masked.
- Server logs. Our web server records IP addresses and request details for security and to prevent abuse of the contact form.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss how our products may help.
- To improve the website and understand which content is useful.
- To keep the site secure and prevent spam or misuse.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not send your name, email or company to our analytics providers.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to operate the website: Resend (to deliver contact form enquiries to our inbox), Google (Analytics) and Microsoft (Clarity). These providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We only share what they need to provide their service.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The site will still work without them.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, please contact us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
